On 14th September 2009, exactly 10 Years ago, I walked into Golden Gate Restaurant, the venue of KPMG Audit Trainee Program. We used to call it KBAC back then.
We were there for three weeks and it was an awesome experience. For a graduate of Chemistry, everything taught was

Greek at first but the instructors were amazing. Instructors like Yomi Ajijola, Chineme Nwigbo really did their best to impart accounting knowledge. They made the program really worthwhile.

I am here this morning to celebrate my 10th anniversary of work. It has been wonderful, explosive, powerful and life changing.

To celebrate, I will be sponsoring one (1) lucky fellow for ICAN professional exam from start to finish (Foundation level through Skill level to Professional level). I will pay the exam fees but terms and conditions apply.

The criteria for eligible persons are as follows:
•Keen interest in accounting
•Holder of BSc or HND certificate (Your grade or course of study doesn’t really matter)
•Not above 27 years old
•Must be single

@JAHTOH For people that want to know how much it costs to write ICAN exams in a bid to sponsor someone.

I will explain.
There are 3 levels in ICAN certification. The Foundation level (5 papers), the skill levels (6 papers) and the professional level (5 papers)

The image shows that if a candidate wants to write all 5 courses in foundation for instance, the candidate will pay N47,300. If he chooses to write 3 out of the five in a particular exam diet, he will pay N34,900. This means he is going to pay N28,700 when he/she wants to write

the remaining two.
Therefore, if we assume that the candidate will write each level once and take all courses in each level, the total exam fees will be N208,450. This is the minimum as most candidates will stagger the exams. Hope this helps someone. @Oga_Sabi

1. Write an email of not more than 840 characters (this is equivalent to a three-tweet thread)
2. In the email, let us know that you meet all the requirements (in all sincerity). The requirements are as follows:

a. Keen interest in accounting;
b. Holder of BSc or HND certificate (Your grade or course of study doesn’t really matter);
c. Not above 27 years old;
d. Must be single.

3. In the email, let us know why you should be selected for this scholarship
4. Send the email to [e-mail] with title "ICAN Professional Exams Scholarship"
5. Entry closes by 7pm on Tuesday, 17 September 2019.

How we are going to select the winner:

- Five people will be shortlisted. Their names will be made public.
- @Ogbenidipo will select two (2) winners (randomly) from the pool of these 5 successful people
