one of the hardest things about being a woman is being right about something and then having to be patient and gracious when men realize it.
resisting the urge to scream I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO and instead saying, i’m glad you were able to come to this conclusion as well, requires so. much. energy.
and do you know why we’re always right? because we *have* to be. because every word, thought, and idea is scrutinized and criticized and questioned so if we are opening our mouths to say something it’s because we are goddam CERTAIN that what we’re saying is true.

One thing I’ve learned over the past year is that there is nothing you can do about malignant narcissists who have fixated on you. Anything you say or do will be twisted to fit their narrative.

That means you have to excise them and anyone they’re friends with out of your life.
That means ZERO contact. You have to do this for your own well being because malignant narcissists are obsessive and they will NEVER stop.

They are incapable of moving on. So YOU have to move on. And you have to stick to it.

No contact. NONE.
A malignant narcissist will try to get in front of you at any opportunity. They will try to get your attention. They will escalate and increase the frequency of their lies in the hopes that it will become so unbearable for you that you will feel no choice but to respond.

One of the hardest things to do on Earth is relocating.
Even if it means moving from one neighbourhood to another or city to city, it is hard. Imagine moving from an entire culture to another as you move from country to country?
The first thing that hits badly you is the food.
When I first started school in England, the hardest thing to adjust to was the food. IT was so bland!! I had to put pepper into everything and it was not the same. One day, I got fed up, went to Tesco, bought stuff and made my own Nigerian stew. It was still not the same.
I had to run away from Sheffield every weekend to Manchester because my Bestman and his wife lived there and had Nigerian food. Having the food you are used to all around you is something that you take for granted until you now have to drive two hours to and fro to get it.

The midichlorians are an example of my overarching argument about The Prequels: that they contain a very nuanced story told very, very incompetently.
The Jedi are SUPPOSED to be spiritually enlightened warrior monks. That's what our image of them is. It's what Luke thought they were. It's what Anakin expected them to be.
