Trans women are natural women.

We are biological women.

We are natal women.

We are real women.

We are adult human females.

*We are NOT cis women!*

Cis women aren’t ‘more woman’ than trans women.

Transmisogyny is still misogyny.

Feminism without trans women isn’t feminism!

There is no gotcha.

Trans women are women.

Simplified eighth grade biology constructs don’t invalidate us. Justifying transphobia with them invalidates you.

Trans people are a trans-historical and pan-cultural phenomenon that arise as a consequence of evolutionary biology.

Many cultures revered gender nonconforming and transgender people throughout history. Some historical languages have inclusive language.

Other groups have sought our complete erasure.

But one thing is for sure: you cannot stop trans people from being born because we ARE nature.

Sure, I’d rather tweet about how wonderful life is, but unfortunately everyday when I wake up in the morning one of my first 20 thoughts is about the fear I feel in being trans in a trans-ignorant and/or trans-hostile world.

So I tweet often to bring...knowledge and love. 🤓❤️

There is no biological characteristic you can use to exclude trans women from being women that won’t inevitably exclude some cis women.

Many humans are born in ways that don’t match the cis hetero template, and thats OK!

We should celebrate diversity, not try and erase it! 🧜‍♀️

An aside: these threads generally happen when I scroll past the gazillionth tweet from a transphobe in a week saying “yeah, trans women are women, they’re just not [insert your choice from original tweet] women.

The only one that works there is cis. We aren’t CIS women.

The patriarchy certainly sees trans women as women, on a good day anyway, as less than women on other days, and as less than human most days.

“Trans women are men” is a hate-fantasy that oppressors like to use to ground their claims that being trans is a mental illness.

Thank You to all the cis folks who ally with trans folks, whether big or small acts.

I’ve seen y’all get harassed and dog piled by rabid transphobes, but y’all RT and message for trans folks anyway.

Building alliance brings hope.

We need you!
