Most traders struggle with the same issues. Getting in too soon-or to late or not taking a loss when we should have as a result turned it into a much bigger one or not getting out of good trades too quickly or not taking profit when we should only to turn the trade into a loser
-or getting stopped out and have the market run back in my direction. When I began my career off the floor onto the screens I sat with my notebook and screens and me. The markets go up or down or sideways. Nothing I could change there. What I worked on was managing my positions
-these errors and mistakes were all rooted in fear for me. Fear of losing money, fear of being wrong or missing a move or leaving money on the table. I had to relearn-or to transfer the skills I had on the floor to managing positions on the screen. I have to accept price action
-as it is not as I want it to be. So I changed my position management and restructured my life to move from fear into confidence and trust. Trust and confidence in my talent, my knowledge and experience as well as my methodology and process. Took time and hard work but it works
-I pay for my trade so I lock in profit. I learned to not fight algos but to let algos do the work for me so after I pay for my trade the market will pay me at my target or take me out for a scratch. This is the overly simplified version of some of what I do to conserve capital
-and grow it. My process or methods prevent me from falling back into bad and destructive behaviors. I am grateful I have a wife who believed in me so I kept punching till it all clicked again. #grateful
