I was at a fair number of DC meetings in that era, and what I was hearing was VENDOR PUSHBACK about the feds WANTING usability criteria. /thread

In the end, that high-pressure lobbying won, and you-all got screwed. But it's misinformed to suggest it was those feds' doing - /more
