Fifty years after the 15th amendment expanded the vote to Black men, women got the 19th amendment. It's 161 years since the 14th amendment and there is still no Equal Rights Amendment. I think white America was willing to make that check to Black men more easily than to women
because they knew if Black men tried to cash it, they could bounce that check. Trump is the reaction to Obama cashing the check, for seeking the White House, the presidency, equality. I think they know their math and recognize it's easier to bounce a check for 12% than 51%
Of course, if people of color and others one the downside of white patriarchy allied, they're a hell of a lot more. White men running this country have always been minority rule. But white women cross the line to join with white men rather than allying with women or
even better, allying with everyone who has been marginalized by white patriarchy. Anyway...these are thoughts bouncing around in my head about why I support Kamala so much. Cash the damn check!
