I'm heading to #TribFest19 right now to do a series of Lawfare events over the next few days, including one that will unveil a major new @lawfareblog project. Here are all the Lawfare-related events at the festival this year. We will be recording and podcasting several of these.
Today, I interview Judge John Bates, former presiding judge of the FISA Court about all things FISA—including the statute's role in L'Affaire Russe. festival.texastribune.org/speakers/john_…
Tomorrow, @DavidPriess moderates a powerhouse conversation on domestic terrorism with Lisa Monaco, @BobbyChesney, Mary McCord, and Nick Rasmussen.
Tomorrow evening, we have a Lawfare reception. Come join us....
Saturday, three big events: First, @vermontgmg talks to Lisa Monaco, John Carlin, and @MiekeEoyang about cybercrime enforcement.

Then, I sit down with @jacklgoldsmith to talk about his astounding and riveting new book on, of all things, the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa.
Finally, @BobbyChesney will sit down with Sheriff Benny Martinez of Brooks County Texas and @Sleutert to discuss a truly important project they have worked on together on migrant deaths—a project we will be unveiling on @lawfareblog as part of this week's #TribFest19.
Very grateful to the @TexasTribune and to Evan Smith for involving Lawfare this year.
