1: Cystic Fibrosis Queensland book shop at Nundah
CFQ is a book-lovers dream. Ex-library books and community donations all $4 or YA for $2.
I've found everything from new releases within weeks of publication to a signed book from a member of Monty Python there!

2: Logical Unsanity book shop at Bardon!
If an midnight book run is up your alley then Logical Unsanity has you covered! It's a novelty that never quite wears off.

3: Archives Fine Books at Brisbane City
My god this one is intimidating. With millions of books you could get lost in Archives forever. Most helpful when you've missed your bus and have an hourly service.

4: Boswells Books at Paddington
A mini Archives with easier parking (just across the street from a Woolies). I always end up grabbing something here and can easily be combined with a another stop at Paddington op shops or Logical Unsanity a few minutes away!

5: It would be crazy of me not to mention Lifeline Bookfest with events all over Queensland (Brisbane in Jan + Jun).
If you don't like big crowds you might want to give the first day a miss but they restock throughout and you'll still end up walking up with arms full
