2008 | The 2007 Shake up of McCain’s campaign. nytimes.com/2008/07/03/us/… via @NYTimes
Infighting and financial hemorrhage plague McCains 2006 campaign run by Rick Davis of ‘Manafort + Davis’. Five high level persons leave the campaign allegedly for conflicts of interest. The person w/the largest CoI (Rick Davis) did not depart at that time.
Rick Davis wrote and managed the disclosure of campaign officials past lobbying efforts that may be of ‘embarrassment to the Senator and the campaign’
TOM LOEFFLER | Campaign co-Chair Tom Loeffler, a lobbyist for among others Saudi Arabia left the McCain campaign reported on 5/19/2008.
DOUG DAVENPORT | Lobbied on behalf of multiple special interest groups incl. Lookheed, Verizon, General Motors, AT&T, Intel, VISA, Goldman Sachs.

Davenport reportedly worked on cleaning up the military of Myanmar Junta image, + was forced to resign from McCain campaign -5/30/08.
DOUG GOODYEAR | Represented the Burmese military junta and was paid 348K for his work as such in 2002. The BMJ was widely condemned by the US SD for human right abuses.
Doug Goodyear left (resigned) the McCain campaign, as reported on 5/19/08.
ERIC BURGESON | McCain ‘Energy Advisor’ was lobbying the fed gov on behalf of energy clients while on campaign. He joined firm Barbour Griffith & Rogers in 2006 after having been CoS at DoE.

He lobbied for ‘Southern Company’ which operated elec utilities + nuclear power plants.
CARLOS BONILLA | Less information on this departure and also reported almost a month after others. ‘Lobbying ties’ were reported as reason for boot from McCain Campaign.
6/08 - McCain faces accusations he knew about his Campaign Manager, Rick Davis’ own conflicts of interest. But Davis’ Pro-Kremlin Ukrainian election connections was only part of the problem that had dogged McCain campaign w/regards to Davis. huffpost.com/entry/new-ques…
July 2008 | RICK DAVIS leaves McCain campaign after having been named upon the departures of Terry Nelson and John Weaver in July 2007.

Rick Davis has been part of the campaign but took the title Campaign Manager at this time.
Who is Rick Davis of Manafort and Davis? Why does it matter, some basics; His firm was paid 2.8$M b/t 1998-2008 for lobbying Congress on behalf of pro-Kremlin interests in Ukraine;
McCains non-profit Reform Institute, which promotes campaign finance reform, hired Davis as a consultant in 2001.
Before Davis joined McCain’s campaign but while he consulted Reform Institute, his firm worked directly for the 2004/2010 Ukrainian campaign of Yanukovich the pro-Kremlin candidate. A entity created by D+M called 3eDC appears as the intermediary for this initiative.
3eDC strategic partners include AirNet the parent company of SMARTTech under Averbeck;Dynology Corp; Campaign Dolutions; New Media solutions born of Connell’s GovTech in 2007; and integrated Web Technology found by the courts to have illegally manipulated elections.
All of these entities seemed to have been created in 2006 and 2007 and also had last website updates shortly thereafter.

Was there a push to get these companies up and running for the 2008 McCain campaign? 3eDC already existed for Davis Manafort Ukraine initiative.
AirNet; Dynology; Integrated Web Strategy; Campaign Solutions (note dates)
Correction- *Integrated Web Strategies seems to have reinvented themselves and at appears legit and disconnected politically. More due diligence needed and research on report that a court had found them guilty of manipulating elections. workwithiws.com
weird. Open Corp has IWS starting up in 3/2019. However, when you link through the 3eDC archive page it takes you a site that has a similar logo (slightly updated). Also the addresses on the IWS archived page and new entity page have both Phoenix and DC addresses. Also-
Note the phone number on the new website (first SC) for IWS and the old archived IWS (2nd SC) for Phoenix. Not a coincidence.
Spoke too soon—IWS fully engaged in political campaigns.
Digression, back to Davis & 3eDC. Inside McCain campaign aides/officials were claiming contract w/3eDC (hired for website + internet services) was putting additional pressure on an already faltering financial state of campaign.
Rick Davis and Paul Manafort firm made close to $1M over several months of the McCain campaign on the 3eDC contract.
After the summer shake up of top level advisors and officials in the McCain campaign it appeared that payments from campaign to 3eDC stopped, but then those officials landed themselves jobs at the RNC and payments from RNC to 3eDC began again. Interesting.
3eDC incorporates in DE. 8/10/2006
Coincidence in the timeline of incorporation of 3eDC is that it happens simultaneously with Rick Davis’ partner, Manafort’s start of business with Deripaska. @jennycohn1
The more I see how 3eDC worked - it was not performing the actual work, it was an intermediary to Connell + Averbeck’s New Media and AirNet (SMARTech). They tried to infect the McCain campaign and almost succeeded, but then moved to the RNC.
Was 3eDC functioning as the intermediary between Manafort/Deripaska/Putin and the GOP? Was Davis using the connection to embed into McCain, knowingly or unknowingly through partner, Manafort? Was 3eDC just a layer to get Pro-Russian interests embedded w/Connell/Averbeck co’s?
Knowing they were already in bed w/GOP and had been for decades? Did 3eDC want the key that SMARTech had to US elections? Did they want the emails from Rove Bush era—for the GOP in its entirety? Did Connell and Averbeck invite them or was it too late once 3eDC was in?
I have so many questions. 2006 was a key year to Russia’s infiltration of GOP. They knew the 2004 election had been stolen, they saw the methods employed in Ukraine by Manafort, they only needed the ‘in’ to US, they had everything else they needed, including our own corruption.
