What is telling here is the haughty aristocratic tone accusing someone of not reading the IG report, while obviously not having read it themselves, simply to defend lying under oath to federal investigators because the person who did it happens to be anti-Trump
And regardless, even if Hennessy were right that McCabe wasn’t “under oath” (which she isn’t as he was, twice), the US Justice Manual guidance is clear that “all statements” within the exec branch, whether “sworn or unsworn” are within scope of 18 USC 1001 justice.gov/jm/criminal-re…
