I have no problem with being called insignificant. I am. But unlike the author of this piece I am not a polemicist. Nor are my colleagues. (2/2)
Curious aside: apparently ‘insignificant’ and ‘establishment’ can be used to insult the same people. Who would have thought?

The College of Arms is NOT a subsidiary of @jk_rowling ’s Hogwarts where people play D&D all day. It’s a royal corporation founded in 1484 that is one of the few remaining heraldic authorities in Europe.
@jk_rowling The Bluemantle Pursuivant is also a junior officer of arms at the College of Arms. Wikipedia says there was a rumour that this office was created by Henry V, but there’s no evidence for it. Which is fun, because it makes me think the guy just made the stuff up and asked for pay.

Counterpoint. While I am sure everyone on the EU side will read this - this is a message for a domestic audience. And it is interesting in several respects. Let’s look at it in detail (thread)
First: where do you leak to. The Spectator - meaning this is a message to the converted.
Second: what message do you want to get across? This is virtue-signaling. For the group that thinks that negotiations involve being the toughest tough guy in toughland. Hard as steel.

I have other airing out to do- I'll start sometime before #LivePD starts. I can unequivocally prove a KNOWING, SPANNING, & HIGHLY ILLEGAL PLOT, that violated every last right, every iota of sanctity, and does implicate, Judges, Sheriff Employees, Multiple Public Defenders, etc..

Thoughtful article calling for compassion & reason on all sides. The problem (& why groups like ours exist in the 1st place) is the refusal by too many activists & clinicians to even consider that a new group of youth are being influenced by social contagion. Why is that so hard?
Instead of engaging/respecting parents & others who ask for more careful handling of gender-dysphoric teens, we get compared to white supremacists, even by leaders in "affirmative" therapy. @samuelveissiere this sort of dismissal is pretty much all we hear
You should also know @samuelveissiere that the trans activists who vilify us the most are adult-transitioning MTFs, whose experiences of gender dysphoria are simply not the same as our (mostly) female teens.

Like surely somebody has a poll showing what % of professors/students are liberal/conservative? If so, getting the rate is easy!
Regarding religious colleges, it's ridiculous to include them. If an institution *from the outset* professes to be advancing a specific and has a statement of belief which precludes certain claims, then it's odd to include in a free speech database.
