The College of Arms is NOT a subsidiary of @jk_rowling ’s Hogwarts where people play D&D all day. It’s a royal corporation founded in 1484 that is one of the few remaining heraldic authorities in Europe.
@jk_rowling The Bluemantle Pursuivant is also a junior officer of arms at the College of Arms. Wikipedia says there was a rumour that this office was created by Henry V, but there’s no evidence for it. Which is fun, because it makes me think the guy just made the stuff up and asked for pay.

Expect an extension even if the deal passes the U.K. parliament- because it also has to pass the EP. Why does that need time?
Because the agreement is complex and much depends on this. Read this - Art. 5(6) NI Protocol - bearing in mind that each sub clause is supposed to be meaningful. To understand the implications they’ll need a couple of days.

Counterpoint. While I am sure everyone on the EU side will read this - this is a message for a domestic audience. And it is interesting in several respects. Let’s look at it in detail (thread)
First: where do you leak to. The Spectator - meaning this is a message to the converted.
Second: what message do you want to get across? This is virtue-signaling. For the group that thinks that negotiations involve being the toughest tough guy in toughland. Hard as steel.

I don't think English newsmen ever look at a calendar from one year to the next.
Scottish court will hear this Friday (4th) and rule next Monday (7th) if it can send the extension request if Johnson refuses.
Parliament will be prorogued from Tuesday 8th for one week.
Mon 14th - State Opening of Parliament and Queen's Speech

Thurs 17th - EU summit.

Sat 19th - Letter asking for an extension

Mon 21st --- Sometime this week parliament votes for an election

Nov 28th - Polling day
It's going to be the stupidest Queen's speech ever. State Opening and Queen's Speech on Monday 14th, and then the Benn letter asking for an extension on Saturday 19th.

After that parliament dissolves for a general election. The shortest session of parliament ever. One week.

During the Chandrababu Govt, Amravati received political as well as financial patronage. Now, with Jagan Reddy being incharge of the state, the project is in shambles. World Bank & ADB pulled out of the project and the Government is looking for reasons to scrap it. 2/n
The bonds issued to support the financing needs of the project were subscribed by Franklin MF and Birla MF. The bonds are guaranteed by the AP Govt but it's not sure if the Govt would keep servicing the bonds. The risk of lending to a state govt has again come to the fore. 3/11

July 23rd - new Tory leader
July 25th - Summer recess

Aug 1st - Radnor by election

Sept 3rd - Parliament opens
Sept 14th - Party conferences

Oct 7th Parliament re-opens
Oct 17th - European Council
Oct 31st - Brexit extension expires
If they call an election the day after the new Tory leader, then an election on September 5th

If they call it on September 3rd after recess, then an election on October 3rd

If they call it on October 7th straight after conference season, then an election on October 31st
There will be one vote of no confidence before summer. If the Tories survive that, and maybe only by one vote, if they survive that's the end of the line anyway. Two months to prepare for a general election.
