The College of Arms is NOT a subsidiary of @jk_rowling ’s Hogwarts where people play D&D all day. It’s a royal corporation founded in 1484 that is one of the few remaining heraldic authorities in Europe.
@jk_rowling The Bluemantle Pursuivant is also a junior officer of arms at the College of Arms. Wikipedia says there was a rumour that this office was created by Henry V, but there’s no evidence for it. Which is fun, because it makes me think the guy just made the stuff up and asked for pay.
