GOOD OMENS is getting an actual DVD release! I'm so relieved!
Physical media is a privilege. It requires space to store it, money to acquire it, and frequently, specialized equipment to make it work.
A physical book can just be opened and read with no special gear, but can trigger dust allergies. Good luck watching a VHS tape or Betamax cartridge, unless you've been saving some pretty hefty boxes for a rainy day.
When I wanted to play DDR the other day, it took us twenty minutes to jury-rig the entertainment system into acknowledging that the PS2 existed. Physical media is a privilege.
And despite this, I will always, always be an advocate for physical media, because it's way too easy to things that never have a home consumer version to disappear forever.
Some of my favorite shows never got a VHS or DVD release, and are no longer on streaming.

As people push more and more toward "I have a streaming service, I don't need to spend money/space on physical media," things you can't stream increasingly may as well not exist.
I am excited any time a show or movie that was originally created for a streaming service gets an actual physical release that I can pay money to own forever.*
