I really don't like spiders. I don't quite hate them, per se, but I find myself liking them less & less every time a big-ass corn spider/similar uncomfortably-large spider shows up in the house & I play hell trying to catch & release it outside where it can't accost us as easily.
I'm starting to think I may have a very low level of arachnophobia, as spiders make me just uneasy enough to evoke a response similar to other people's creature phobias. Or maybe I'm just tired of getting creeped on by the ultimate epitome of the term "creepy-crawly." Go AWAY!!🕷
A motto I've adopted for both spiders & mosquitoes: "The only thing worse than seeing a spider or mosquito is NOT seeing it." Encountering one is bad enough; losing track of it is worse—that's all the opportunity needed for a nasty sneak attack. (This applies to other things too)
