"If so, what will you do to bolster the world's faith in our commitments, after Trump?"
"If not, with whom do you imagine these countries will ally, and how will that affect their liberty and our security?"

"What kinds of provocations do you expect the new president to face from Russia, China, and Iran?"
"As you know, Trump has severely weakened our deterrence after four years of explicitly saying he thinks our allies should go screw themselves. Do you think we should attempt to reestablish deterrence?"
"If not, do you imagine that our allies will be able to survive as independent states? Why, and how?"

"If yes, how do you propose to re-establish American deterrence?
