Bryan Cohen, a Goldman Sachs Vice President in their Consumer Retail Industry Group, was arrested yesterday for securities fraud & insider trading conspiracy.

Here’s the DOJ announcement. Besides Bryan Cohen, several others were also charged:

Telemaque Lavidas, the son of a member of the board of directors of Ariad Pharmaceuticals

Joseph El-Khouri, a securities trader in the UK

Benjamin Taylor and Darina Windsor, former investment bankers who worked in London

Georgios Nikas, a securities trader and Greek restaurateur in NY who also owns other businesses in the US and Europe

They evaded law enforcement by using burner phones and encrypted apps to communicate about their #InsiderTrading.
El-Khouri paid out cash, gifts, hotel stays, and travel expenses in exchange for confidential corporate transactions that were stolen by Taylor and Windsor. He illegally generated $2 million in profit by placing trades of at least 6 companies based on the inside info.
Nikas did the same and placed trades in at least 12 companies with the inside info.
Nikas also obtained inside info from Lavidas, who is the relative of a corporate insider.

Nikas and Lavidas stoke the info from biotech company Ariad.

Lavidas’ father was also a member of the board of Ariad.

Hmm, is Hunter Biden also making $ off of Zambia via China? Just found this write up accusing China Jiangxi International of bribing Zambian officials & stealing taxpayer money.

They noted China Jianqxi was just awarded a contract 2 build the Copperbelt.

A prominent Berlin art dealer was arrested in Germany on suspicion of fraud connected to the sale of high-value art works. Police also raided 7 locations in Berlin and Brandenburg related to the investigation.

No details on who the dealer is, though.

A local radio stationed reported that the dealer is prominent, has international subsidiaries, and exhibited paintings by artists such as Gerhard Richter and Georg Baselitz.

Sounds like he may have been taking money for art works, but then not delivering them.
Did some digging in German news and found the art dealer is Michael Schultz. Ahh, he's accused of selling art with counterfeit certificates of authenticity.

Not only is California’s pensions fund CALpers invested in China’s surveillance companies, but so are pension funds in funds in Florida, New York State as well as CalSTRS.

Not only that, but Cali’s CALpers is part run by a Chinese Communist party official.

So the oldest credit union in NY is being investigated for money laundering & other offenses. The unsealed warrants involve the arrest of this judge & a former NYPD officer who served on the board.
A credit union for government employees, why would you be laundering money there!

The ministers ran the usual list of government programs involved in graft. Trade, transportation, public works, finance, industry, higher education & agribusiness!
Of course this is just the latest development in draining the Swamp in Algeria which connects heavily to the Swamps in Canada, France, Russia & Switzerland. And all the banks & oil field services companies that laundered the cash in between the Swamps!

Seems money laundering operations are still being exposed & the banks are scrambling to settle up with minimal exposure. Meaning they have to cooperate & flip on the money launderers. #ButNothingsHappening Here's a few new ones today!
