Not only is California’s pensions fund CALpers invested in China’s surveillance companies, but so are pension funds in funds in Florida, New York State as well as CalSTRS.

Not only that, but Cali’s CALpers is part run by a Chinese Communist party official.

Imaad Shah Zuberi, a lobbyist and political donor to both Democrats and Republicans, pleaded guilty to falsifying records to conceal that he was working as a foreign agent, evading taxes, lobbying on behalf of foreign entities, and illegal campaign contributions.
He ran a venture capital firm called Avenue Ventures and solicited foreigners and foreign government reps by claiming he could use his influence in the DC swamp to change US foreign policy and create business for himself and clients.
Clients gave him loads of money for various political campaign contributions and for investing and consulting fees. He also hired lobbyists to get access to US officials, "some of whom took action in support of his clients." Some did, but most didn't.

A grand jury returned additional charges against 11 of the 15 agents in the college admissions bribery scandal, including charges for conspiracy to commit federal program fraud, fraud, wire fraud and money laundering.

Hmm, is Hunter Biden also making $ off of Zambia via China? Just found this write up accusing China Jiangxi International of bribing Zambian officials & stealing taxpayer money.

They noted China Jianqxi was just awarded a contract 2 build the Copperbelt.

Ive been beating the drum on this for over a week now. QDII needs to increase at least as a sign of good faith. Wall Street loves investing in #China. Theyd also love taking Chinese money to open investment accounts here in the US.
But Chinese people are not allowed to do, or are greatly restricted. Meanwhile, Americans are basically being mandated to invest in Chinese state owned companies and others thru index strategies. China needs to return the favor.
