PS/ I'm vetoing all references to the Guess Who. *But* I will admit (keeping in mind that I was only thinking of sixties bands here) that I'd forgotten The Band. Were Robbie Robertson and the boys a "Canadian Beatles"? ... no. And I think they'd agree. But they were pretty great!
PS2/ I also beg the forgiveness of the *Buffalo Springfield*. They were by no means trying to be Beatlesesque, but if there's one sixties singer I could morph into for a day I'd probably choose Stills at the moment he performed "For What It's Worth" on TV:

Many are confused as to what's happening, so I'll clarify: BIPARTISAN hearings are being held with members of multiple House committees. Scalise is alleging Schiff is "hiding" something not because the GOP isn't in the room, but because the "right" Republicans aren't in the room.
1/ Historians and legal analysts confirm the impeachment inquiry is being conducted consistent—in all respects—with historical practice, and moreover, that it's bipartisan. Today's events are planned—staged—public relations events intended to falsely discredit standard processes.
2/ Recent news articles confirm the president has been privately pushing Republicans to stage public protests against the impeachment inquiry. This appears to be the result of that private pushing—behind which has always been the implicit threat that Trump will punish dissenters.

I'm among those who think this author's anonymity dangerously threatens the book's credibility (as well as what they can share, given that the relation of specific events could reveal their identity). Unless they confess to crimes in the book, I don't get the need for anonymity.
1/ Different publishers have different factchecking policies. Hachette owes readers a forward in which it describes how the allegations in the book were confirmed, given that the reader has *no access* to the author's identity to judge their ability to view what they've related.
2/ If this person is still working in the administration, I'd say it severely degrades their credibility and any claim of integrity. Note also that advances are merely advances against royalties, so if this author keeps a good chunk of their royalties, they *will* get very rich.

It's time I say this outright: the fully-sourced facts in PROOF OF CONSPIRACY are 500% more dangerous to the White House than FEAR and FIRE & FURY combined. Everyone who reads it knows it. There *are* outlets that won't have me on because PROOF OF CONSPIRACY is too hot to handle.
1/ Behind the scenes, I'm contacted by... everyone. Major media doesn't struggle—at least behind the scenes—with the idea I've written two NYT bestsellers on Trump's foreign policy. On the other side of the camera, I think there's fear about PROOF OF CONSPIRACY. Actual real fear.
2/ They call Joe Rogan the one man in America who'll talk to *anyone*—and his booker has me *blocked* on Twitter, despite the fact not *one* source or fact in *either* PROOF OF COLLUSION *or* PROOF OF CONSPIRACY has ever been found false *and* the two books have been prescient.
