All of the following are members of Prosperity UK, a think tank that seems to have raised questions over the last few days. When you see how closely the list maps to the hard Brexiters, I'm not too surprised. Labour MPs also on the list: Caroline Flint, Stephen Kinnock etc.
And here's a team from Prosperity UK a few weeks ago admitting they didn't have a clue how many £billions it would cost to put alternative arrangements in for the Irish border. ("Prosperity UK, funded by a Brexit-supporting hedge fund manager" 🤔🤔🤔 )

And it's very well connected. Michael Gove and Greg Clarke have made speeches at its conferences. It's met with special advisors. And the co-founder of Prosperity UK is one of five non-executive board members at the Treasury.

Steve Aiken 13-14 Sep 2019: "I attended the Alternative Arrangements Commission Roundtable Conference. Prosperity UK covered the cost of four meals and one night’s accommodation in the Carrickdale Hotel, Dundalk, County Louth." (Register of Interests)

Prosperity UK (or to give it its full company name, "Prosperity UK 2017 Ltd") has also paid for travel, accommodation and similar for Suella Braverman, Greg Hands and Nicky Morgan. (MPs get bought stuff by all sorts of people all the time.)

"Sir Paul Marshall is Co-Chairman of Prosperity UK and Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Marshall Wace LLP, a global hedge fund headquartered in London." (Manages $27 billion)

Now, the same Sir Paul Marshall donated £100,000 to the Leave campaign during the referendum.

Important: none of the above is inherently "wrong", AFAIK. But it surprises me that so many people on nominally different sides of the political spectrum are all bound together by their participation in the same organisation, one that ties back to Leave.
Steven Baker: "Was my hon. Friend as impressed as I was by the new spirit of resolve and optimism witnessed yesterday among **senior City figures** at the Prosperity UK conference, at which the Secretary of State spoke so inspirationally?" (My emphasis.)

Related aside: why do the slightly shadowy seeming and Establishment-hyper-connected organisations never appear to be working for Remain? Could it be because there's much more money to be made dismantling stuff than in preserving the status quo?
Here's a link to the page about the Parliamentary Commission, which seems to be just a fancypants name for the group set up by Prosperity UK, rather than something officially mandated by Parliament.
