Treasurer for several Republican PAC’s pleads guilty to filing false FEC reports. Draining the Swamp means draining both parties!

@CavazosLiz The guilty plea is to one simple charge, paying $32k in invoices to Person A in their joint account. For services Person A did not perform.
@CavazosLiz The real interesting charges are not included as separate crimes but admitted in his guilty plea, which means he flipped.
Those include laundering money between some of his 52 PACs to illegally pay legal bills. He also admitted using PACs to move straw donor money to candidates!
@CavazosLiz It seems many of these PACs were controlled by a group called Strategic Campaign Group Inc. out of Anapolis Maryland. They have been in hot water since the 2014 election including failing to file reports about expenditures to help candidates.

@CavazosLiz Of course it gets very Swamp quickly. SCG & Active Engagement control a host of PAC's. What do the PAC's do best? Pay SCG & AE consulting fees for fundraising & other efforts.
One PAC spent $2.4M on fundraising out of the $3.4 it raised. Not very efficient if you ask me.
Now where it gets interesting to me is that the group was raided on 5/11/17, smack in the middle of the 9 Days in May that were critical for defeating the coup plot.
Was this Republican group involved or is the timing just a coincidence?capitalgazette.com/news/crime/ph-…
Interesting to me because that meant that Rod Rosenstein as US Attorney for Maryland had been leading the investigation, then less than 3 weeks after he was confirmed this raid happened.

The raid reportedly was focused on the 2013 Virginia campaign of Ken Cuccineli. So when you think 2016 cases should be over, realize that 2013-4 cases were resulting in 2017 raid & 2019 indictments & guilty pleas.
Cases move slower than we would like, because these cases are hard
Now what did they do for Cuccineli? They raised money, promised & contracted to help his campaign win the election in 2013, then did not provide those services. Resulting in Cuccineli losing the election, so they sabotaged his election.
So who won that election after this 'Republican' consulting firm sabotaged his campaign?
Clinton Foundation friend Terry McAuliffe!

Are you seeing where this is headed? Yep, me too!
Kelley Rogers plead guilty to wire fraud in the Eastern District of Virginia 4 weeks ago for his fraud associated with this case.

So from 2012-2018, this 'Republican' consulting firm was basically taking money away from Republican elections & not helping the Republican candidates win.

So Dems see fraud from the right, when it is in fact a fraud against the right....
