Whew. People are really playing into this position HARD the last couple days.
For all of you who have anarchist sympathies, you should probably know that if you wait to express your criticisms of Leninism until after we have agitated the people, we will just repeat the same cycle as last time. Leninism is predicated upon ruthless concentration of power.
I, for one, have been more vocal about my partisan stances recently, because I have realized that Leninists use dog-piling to replace the coercive power they once had. They are hoping to intimidate you into silence.
If we want to actually create socialism this time around, we need to expose the empty scientism of Leninist dogma. They are not the practical camp, they are not "materialist," they only use the guise of rigor. Empirically, their projects failed to materialize their promises.
This is not to say, of course, that we should be spending our time bad-mouthing the victims of US imperialism. But there is a difference between anti-imperialism and kneejerk support of state-capitalism-with-socialist-aesthetics.
Leninists will tell you every step of the way "nonono don't criticize Leninist regimes, you'll play into America's hands" up until the moment they purge all criticism from the party apparatus. And you, fearing their wrath, will have let them intimidate you each step of the way.
I, for one, want worker management of the means of production, not some metaphysical transmutation of the state into a propagandistic representation of the will of the masses.
There is no such thing as a dictatorship of the proletariat. There is only the will of the proletariat governing themselves or the will of some tyrant telling them "I know better what you need than you know yourself."
So let me make very clear for anyone reading: I am NOT and will NOT fight to create some vanguard party dictatorship. I am NOT and will NOT fight to hand the whip to some new master. I am fighting to end masters and their whips forever.
If you will fight with me on that journey, every step of the way we can work together I will endeavor under tactical unity to find our common goal. But do not expect me to happily accept the injection of failed Leninist doctrine into a renewed leftist movement.
The last leftist push exemplified the Leninist praxis and it FAILED. It's time to give the reins over to the leftists who have actually succeeded in creating socialist projects, no matter how short lived they were, and stop sabotaging the right of the people to govern themselves.
