Not sure how many of you read my tweets in passing, but I did want to comment on a few things. I'm like CHRS4LFE in that Twitter serves as a documentation of my progress in DDR. I don't really use it for anything else so of course my tweet will focus on score updates. 1/9
With that said, at the same time I try not to spam every score I improve, far from it. I tend to only post when I get new expert/challenge MFCs, hit a milestone, or something I was particularly proud of. Hell, I only take photos or videos for the above mentioned. 2/9
There are literally thousands of MFCs/upscores I got that I didn't take photos of cause in general I don't for beginner~difficult, just get it and move on. If I didn't, I'd have that many more tweets which I think would be a bit much. OK, getting off topic, let's get back on. 3/9
However, the way I do it isn't to say it's the correct way. People go about sharing and improving differently. So I encourage everyone to share what they are proud of without fear of spamming. OK, so this brings me to the next important thing I wanna let out. 4/9
Alright so I know I may seem cold to most people and to an extent that's true because naturally I'm an introverted person until you really get to know me. So I may not always interact by liking or commenting on improvements players make but don't be fooled. 5/9
I LOVE SEEING IT! I can't tell you how much I love seeing people passionate about the game and feeling excited to share it with the world. I know the feeling & know how great it feels when you make a breakthrough no matter what level you are at, so please don't be discouraged 6/9
I'm not sure how interact more meaningfully but I just hope players know I support their progress and passion for this game. One reason I fear liking or commenting on posts is I feel if I don't keep up and always do it, players would feel let down when I don't. 7/9
I don't know if anyone can relate to this feeling, but in general that's why I'm not very interactive. It isn't because I don't want to be, I just fear I'd let someone down if they got used to it and then I suddenly disappeared which I do from time to time. 8/9
So I'll end this thread with this. If you are intimidated by me, don't be. Though I might seem cold at glance, on a personal level I open up a lot more. If you ever want to talk about DDR with me, questions, tips, share updates, my dms are always open. 9/9
