1/ I want to speak to something in order to clarify why my views of impeachment have changed.

If you have followed me throughout this year you know I was predicting there would be no impeachment.

That was based on the Russian collusion Mueller probe results.

2/ However when this Ukraine story broke everything changed.

The heart of analyzing the Ukraine affair is whether you believe Trump got greedy or lost control and corruptly targeted Joe Biden.

I do not believe that.

3/ As I have written extensively about, I view the actions by Trump and those around him as baiting people into misinterpreting what was happening. I believe Trump made that call on that day with the 2020 election calendar in mind.

4/ I’ve explained in my article the timeline. The players. The steps involved in carrying out this op.

Trump wanted this as the backdrop to the coming DOJ actions that will expose the corrupt attempt to kill his campaign and then remove him once POTUS.

5/ When this whole thing plays out people will say Trump was fortunate. They will claim he got lucky. Again.

But it’s not luck. It’s outside the box thinking. Like what has resulted from pulling troops from northern Syria. Lucky. Right?

6/ Trump holds all the cards on all of these Democrat claims. From Russia to Ukraine. Nothing happening now matters. Polls today are irrelevant. Leaks are meaningless. Trump wants and seemingly will get his trial.

7/ He will actually get what Mueller said he deserved. A venue to defend himself. But that won’t be the only thing he accomplishes.

He will counter attack. Like you’ve never seen before.

8/ Then he’ll go to his rallies and chastise and embarrass Democrats. Rubbing their noses in their corruption. Extolling how right he was all along.

Democrats are going to rue the day they gave Trump this stage in the Senate with the whole world watching.
