I spoke about Observability at #testbash yesterday. This is a thread of references from my presentation.

Observability is about being able to ask arbitrary questions about your environment without having to know ahead of time what you wanted to ask.

@copyconstruct Observability is gaining momentum because the complexity of our systems makes it challenging for us to identify everything that we should monitor or test. @mipsytipsy writes about this in her argument for testing in production.
