Watching these live horse and goat evacuations is horrible and also hopeful.

These strangers are heroes risking their lives ...

But really, if you can't evacuate your horses, you shouldn't own them.

We saw so many dead horses during Woolsey, left to die when owners evac'd.
Every day I drive past a home where my husband saw three horses dead the day after the initial fire storm, when he went back with his friends and chainsaws to put out fires.

It's just crushing.

I always know when my work has been shared by some idealogue on YouTube or similar.

What happens is dozens of white guys appear in my DMs or mentions saying nearly exactly the same thing as one another - clearly something the idealogue said in their broadcast. 1/?
It's hilariously predictable & SUPER easy to mute - since they all say the same things!

I don't open them, I don't read them, I don't have to. They. Are. Identical.

Fellas, these guys are exploiting your anger, hurt & disenfranchisement. They so clearly own your thinking...
And these guys are making a killing in ad rev & sponsored content by doing you all, assuming you'll never read the actual source material, never think for yourselves.

They lie and exaggerate about people like me & my work because they know you'll buy it. They know you'll click.

Yes, the system is broken.

But why should victims be the ones expected to give up.their justice to change the system?

That's messed up!

We KNOW it's almost impossible to win a case like this against a rich white guy. But...
...for some reason we want these victims to sacrifice the only way they're likely to see justice or receive a settlement?

No. Allred is doing what any ethical lawyer would do.

Fix the system. Don't expect the victims to do it for us.
(not that refusing to take the settlement would've stopped Weinstein or fixed the system anyway).

The answer is "Benjamin Tallmadge". If you watched "Turn" you got it easily. Great show, told much of the story of the spy ring (and added some fictional but exciting story line). I'm from Long Island and have visited many of the historical locations associated with the spy ring
Local History: Route 25A for instance used to be an old dirt route that George Washington himself traveled on, and there are historical markers along the road of "Washington's spy trail" and places he stayed. Towns like Setauket and Oyster Bay were the center of this Spy Ring
The Ring was so secretive that members of the ring were not celebrated at the time, even after the war. They took their secrets to the grave. Still to this day we don't know all their names - like "Agent 355" for instance. All we know is that it was a "lady".
