Some of us already understood the true cruelty of it all along, because some of us reported on its horrors in other countries, such as Argentina. We, of course, were attacked for speaking out about this. It is an act of genocide by definition.

I have had friends and colleagues "disappeared." It's a horrible feeling under any circumstances. And now the United States has disappeared children.
