Currently @RepAnnWagner is holding a tele-town hall. When I pressed “0” as instructed to ask a question, I was kicked from the call. Here is a summary of what I heard tonight:
1. Ann recently introduced legislation to protect individuals with pre-existing conditions. However, she neglects to tell consitutents that on May 9, 2019, the House passed HR 986 the Protecting Americans with Pre-Existing Conditions Act of 2019. govtrack.us/congress/bills…
2. Ann emphasized that she works for ALL her constituents. In the past 2 yrs, Ann has voted with Trump 95% of the time. In 2018, Ann won with only 51% of the vote. By voting with Trump 95% of the time, Ann is ignoring the priorities of more than 40% of voters in her district. 
3. Even though Ann admits that being on the Foreign Affairs Committee affords her to opportunity to be in the impeachment inquiry hearings, she says she has not seen the transcripts. ????
4. From what she *has* seen, she has not seen any impeachable offenses. She says that we fight corruption in all these democracies. I would have asked her why, then, did the Trump WH cut funds for anti-corruption programs. washingtonpost.com/us-policy/2019…
5. I would have asked why was it that Burisma was the *only* company that we’ve heard about in relation to corruption in Ukraine.
6. Ann states that this partisan “show” has stalled any work in the House. The House has passed over 250 bills. The House has done a lot of work. Just no work that Ann approves of.
7. Most notable, Ann who likes to tout her pro-life bona fides voted against setting humanitarian standards for people detained by Customs and Border Protection. She voted against raising the federal minimum wage to $15. She voted against lowering the cost of prescription drugs.
8. On October 23, 2019, Ann voted against a bill that requires campaigns to report offers of assistance from foreign governments. politico.com/news/2019/10/2…
Every time I listen in on an @RepAnnWagner call, I am ashamed that she represents me. Not because she is a Republican but because she lies with such ease to her constituents.
P.S. - just a heads up. Ann seemed pretty sure the Durham/Barr investigation is going to yield results for POTUS.
