9 September, Boris Johnson’s spokesperson told journalists, during the morning lobby briefing, “The Prime Minister is not going to seek an extension."
9 September, Boris Johson: "I will go to Brussels – our Government will go to Brussels – on 17 October and negotiate our departure on 31 October, hopefully with a deal, but without one if necessary. I will not ask for another delay."
Yet here we are. On 31 October. Still enjoying membership of the EU.

I could go on. But twelve lies in one week makes the point: Boris Johnson cannot be trusted.
