November 1st, and we’re still in the #EU thanks entirely to the @Conservatives (Brexit means #Brexit, Deal or No Deal, Do or Die, No Ifs No Buts, blah blah) who have been in power every day since the referendum. They could have taken us out at any time, but they chose not to.
@Conservatives The #Tories brazenly reneged on the core promise of their last manifesto, and they’ve got the nerve to behave as if it’s not their fault. It is entirely their fault that the UK is still in the #EU after more than three years. It was entirely in their hands after the referendum.
@Conservatives The #Tories had a majority and they squandered it. They refused to remove a leader who had no intention of delivering independence until she became such an embarrassment they had to. #Johnson took up where she left off. His #FakeBrexit is her sell-out deal with a lick of paint.
@Conservatives The #Tories never had any intention of honouring the referendum result. They regard #Brexit as a problem to be neutralised, and have actively sought ways to keep us tied to the #EU and deny us independence. A vote for #Johnson’s #FakeBrexit is a vote to stay under EU control.
@Conservatives If you find yourself voting for what you don’t want in case you get something worse, you’ve been played. #Labour has no chance of a majority. The #BrexitParty will take as many votes from Labour as from the #Tories. Voting #Tory to keep #Labour out is succumbing to #ProjectFear.
@Conservatives Johnson’s ‘deal’ is a cynical attempt to hoodwink the voters into thinking it’s the best we can do, and to sideline the #BrexitParty. It is not a stepping stone to a better deal. If the #Tories get a majority, their #FakeBrexit will be permanent, and we will never be independent.
@Conservatives If not for #Tory duplicity, the #BrexitParty wouldn’t exist. Its massive surge in the #EU elections showed how much it needs to exist. This election is where the rubber meets the road. We must vote to give the #BrexitParty the balance of power, or we are not getting independence.
@Conservatives If the #Tories were serious about independence, there would be no Benn Act. They would have taken us out the day after the referendum, then negotiated. They chose to bog us down with years of bureaucracy and political chicanery. It is entirely their fault we’re still in the #EU.
