Please @NHSEngland can you ensure all trusts desist from sending out these threatening & wholly inaccurate statements to staff? Candour is a cardinal NHS value & no trust should seek to curb our free speech.
@NHSEngland Same applies to @NHSScotland where, according to this piece, some NHS trusts are also threatening staff inappropriately.

A few examples from the NHS frontline. When I qualified in 2009 nobody lay on a trolley in an ED corridor in my hospital. Nobody. Now it’s routine. Every winter. With ambulances queuing round the block. With staff & patients equally desperate. In the world’s 6th richest country.
Now I meet patients in agony, in sheer desperation, who have waited well over a *year* for a simple hip replacement. Some are trapped inside by their pain. Some fall, inevitably, and fracture that hip. 9 years ago? You’d have your surgery in weeks. The contrast is diabolical.

And incidentally, @matthancock, you once replied to a tweet of mine telling me you loved my passion for the NHS. Please tell me how lying about that same NHS does anything other than demoralise staff with similar passion. The NHS deserves better.
For clarity, it’s just been pointed out to me that this piece is 11 months old and not from today, as I thought. So @MattHancock’s actions are not from this week. The facts (the lie, the authorities’ censure, the deleted tweet) remain the same.

FACT: Every Traffic PS has 4-6 sectors, every sector has a sector officer who is called Beta, he is a 2 star PSI, also will have a 1 star ASI, called Mercury, they will also have pillion staff with them, they would be incharge of that sector, any problem, they need to attend.
Every sector also has a Cobra, he is also the one who coordinates with BBMP/BWSSB etc, he is incharge of coordinating with any road work in progress, he is also the first person to respond for any emergency/accident that's reported via Namma 100 which comes via a Tab he has.
The Inspector of any Traffic PS is called Alpha, he has 3 stars, he is incharge of the entire PS limits and all staff report to him, ensure that all officers reporting to him provide a progress report of improvement of their individual sectors.
