The cult of the religious right continues its campaign to bring the United States Supreme Court closer to Gilead in the Handmaid's Tale. Here to advance their cause, they invoke "feminism" as well as "religious freedom."
True Christians and other loyal Americans are disgusted.
The giveaway that these "religious freedom" people are a bunch of fakes: Just about every single one of them wants to overturn Roe v. Wade.

One reason @ewarren may be the first woman president is that she talks relatively little about being the first woman president. She is extremely intelligent and well informed and focuses on issues of interest to ALL Americans. That's how presidential races are won.
@ewarren Voters much prefer a candidate who did not spend her entire life in politics. Someone who served his country in combat like @PeteButtigieg or who was in teaching for decades like @ewarren. Candidates who built political careers as prosecutors putting minorities in prison? Nah...

I need you to get this. Courts will only rule on the issues put before them. Thurgood Marshall & his gang of civil rights titans spent decades plotting legal strategy & were very careful of what cases they put before the United States Supreme Court.

They understood the consequence of bad precedent. They also fully understood the consequences of a court striking down good law & upholding bad law. It should also be noted that what Marshall & Co. were fighting for is much different from what Allen has his eyes set.
