Amazing event today remembering how 30 years ago the @WisDems and @wisgop could achieve major bipartisan legislation: founding the #Wisconsin State Riverway. Republican Gov. @TommyForHealth and Democrat Spencer Black argued a lot but still got this landmark law in place.

@WisDems @wisgop @TommyForHealth Secretary of #tourism @SaraMeaney may also face the partisan axe in similar fashion. @TommyForHealth was responsible for CREATING the Department of Tourism, elevating it from division status. I thought about that today during the commemorative proceedings today.
@WisDems @wisgop @TommyForHealth Folks I know who have worked in the legislature executive branch know this obstructionism is not good for the great state of #wisconsin. Tommy pointed out that nobody will remember the arguments or the rancor. They will only remember what you accomplished together.
