1. Now I'm being falsely attacked by @Facebook's official account.

I did not "edit" Facebook's statement.

I left out "Any suggestion otherwise is baseless" because: 1. No one made that suggestion, and 2. It was redundant!

This post suggests I acted unethically which is false
@facebook 2. They are also including a thread from the EIC of The 74 saying I didn't ask him about Brown's current role.

But I did ask Brown, through Facebook, and she choose not to respond. So promoting this tweet is particularly dishonest.

I'm being smeared for accurate reporting
3. I believe this is the first time Facebook has ever attacked an individual journalist through its official account.

Facebook is panicking because I am telling the truth.

2. Clegg and Facebook argue that the company doesn't need to fact-check political ads because those ads are ALREADY SCRUTINIZED

It's true that, for example, political ads on TV are scrutinized.

But does that apply to Facebook ads?

No. And let me explain why.
3. Facebook says it has a system that lets third parties scrutinize ads from candidates on Facebook: it's political ad library!

Yes, but yesterday, the Trump campaign had OVER 4700 active ads on Facebook yesterday

On 11/11, I reported that Facebook's Campbell Brown had an active role in the website she founded, The74, and it had been savaging Warren

2. Facebook responded by attacking me on Twitter, falsely suggesting I had inappropriately edited its statement and retweeting a thread from the Editor-in-Chief of The74, Steve Snyder

Snyder claimed I didn't reach out to The74 about Brown's role.
3. Snyder was right, I reached out to BROWN through Facebook about her role at The 74. And Brown admitted that she purposely ignored the question.

But Synder sought to portray The 74 as an open book, and specifically said he would be willing to talk to me "in depth"

GAME OVER

It's unclear why this impeachment inquiry needs to continue

Trump is guilty of multiple impeachable offenses

The evidence does not come from the deep state

It comes from a call summary released by the White House and a guy who donated $1M to Trump's inauguration
Republicans appear entirely unmoved by irrefutable evidence that Trump abused his power to advance his personal political interests.

No one can force Republicans in Congress to have principles.

But they can be forced to vote.

This will be their legacy.
We now know why Pompeo and Trump were so eager to block Sondland and the others from testifying.

It's a criminal conspiracy that goes all the way up to the President of the United States.
