I have a bunch of test Android device, phones attached via WiFi and Android TV boxes. They make me really appreciate the value of "Brave", the privacy-focused browser.
Trying to use the Chrome browser built into Android is painful. A lot of sites are effectively unusable with all the advertisements they shove down your throat. I don't understand how people without ad blocking function.
As for ad blocking, there's another problem: you can't use Google's App Store without giving up private information to Google, like your phone number. It's sometimes hard downloading stuff through a mechanism that's not the App Store that doesn't lead to malware.
So anyway, searching for "site:brave.com apk" leads to this as the source for installing Brave through a trusted means that's not the App Store:
