Was comparing frameworks for discovery, prio, strategy, decision making, etc. recently.

I really wonder whether we're overwhelming the product doers w/ a firehose of fundamentally similar approaches... (1/3)
...I hear often "but people want solutions, not first principles!" and while I agree that show vs. tell is a solid principle unto itself, I really worry when someone ask "but should we do [some method], or y, or z" and they are all basically the same

...for one,...(2/3)
..it puts the emphasis on minor variations instead of the why. Many teams struggle w/ DOING ANYTHING, let alone deciding btwn X Model, Y Tool, or Z Workshop.

Anyway. Something on my mind. But it is hard: "patterns" and "principles" make sense, but they're hard to convey. (3/3)
