Seems Russian oligarch Mikhail Abyzov laundered $770M through Swedbank from 2011-2016. What was the Obama DOJ doing?

The usual collection of banksters turning a blind eye for profits while shell companies launder the money...
Seems he made his money in the usual style of a Russian oligarch....
He then moved into politics as a cabinet official in Dmitry Medvedev's government. While he moved his money out of Russia through Swedbank.
Swedbank hired an independent investor to review their conduct. He found that employees & managers participated in the scheme & hid crimes & tax evasion from law enforcement.
This is coming to light because the new Swedbank CEO waive attorney client privilege with their investigator.
It is how the Swamp is being drained, flip the banks with cooperation agreements, new leaders, & force them to prove what the old leadership did!
It isn't just Russian government officials that use shell companies to hide their assets & avoid taxation!

But it is a good place to start as Western politicians can't help them while complaining about Russian collusion!
Seems he ran into trouble when he ran afoul of our old friend Victor Vekelsberg!
Vekselberg is an old friend of the Clintons, but one who has been implicated in loaning Manafort $1M in summer of 2016, to keep him playing along with the effort to frame Trump when Mueller raided his home.
Vekselberg used Hillary to make friends with all of the Silicon Valley oligarchs like Facebook & others to partner with the Russians.

Vekselberg may have also been caught up in the meetings at Trump Tower where Hillary's friends tried to pony up cash in a wiretapped building to buy the friendship of @RealDonaldTrump through @MichaelCohen212 & others!
Back to Swedbank & their independent investigation into their employee involvement.
One former employee denies the allegations, but he left the bank when they started dropping their non-resident customers.
Here comes the big escalation, the report into Swedbank's misconduct was presented in December 2018. They ignored the recommendation to notify the authorities & still have not handed over the report...
The former CEO says that the bank has refused to share the report with him. Wonder if that is because he was a suspect?
Seems like a whistleblower shared it with the media though!
