Could this be a backward attribution?
Could they be claiming these are Russian hackers in Ukraine because they were using "Russian" hacking tools? Could these servers be 1 of the "Bears" that Crowdstrike was chasing?

Claims that this Ukrainian was hosting 40% of the Russian language Darknet. Which would provide a lot of opportunity to pretend to be Russian...
Of course, the Ukrainians were claiming he is a traitor to Ukraine for working with the Russians, so they couldn't possibly extradite him to the US.
He allegedly has a history of allowing Russians & maybe 'Russians' to launch cyber attacks from his servers.
I may have found the hacker who was extradited, allegedly a Lithuanian who was living in expensive hotels in Kiev.

@MissMaga2016 There is a redacted indictment included at the link. Was hacking brokerage accounts, stealing money, making fake trades to move stock prices, & other dirty deeds from 2011-2018.
