Was wondering how much impeachment was going to dominate tonight's debates. And...it's Q #1. Not sure if that's good or bad for candidates and voters.

But did candidates have the time to follow even the big tickets items from today?
Warren had an earlier plan on axing the paid ambassadors to lean into.
Bernie goes to his stump. (And Klobuchar is cold/nervous/too much hairspray? I couldn't take my eyes off her bangs. Also name-checking MNers.)
Pete goes to Trump ripping off veterans, which, smart.

But I'm just going to say now that none of them got too much of a chance today to absorb what happened today. Which is just as well, since voters probably haven't either.
Biden: Trump and Putin fear me.
Kamala: Trump is a criminal and I will prosecute him (stuff of her ad today). And inequity, smart turn into Warren territory.
Warren's deep cut back to Booker: my wealth tax can fund your baby bonds and HBCUs
(I can see a Warren/Booker [or visa versa] ticket though. Both happy warriors.)
Here for Kamala exposing Tulsi for what she is, at best a chaos agent seeking a Fox contract

Term limits is not the way to even the playing field, as Klobuchar is pointing out
"I set a record. I raised $17,000 from ex-boyfriends" --is a great line from Klobuchar
So far AK is having a gooooood night. Whether that matters at this point, who knows but.
Female moderators = more questions to the rights and burdens of women.
That entire housing exchange was the best multi-candidate issue so far. A grossly undercovered issue by MSM, in large part b/c not so much at front of mind for TV anchors and producers.
If the housing/homeless crisis affected top-tier media people as much as it does...everybody else, we'd have segments every night
What is carbon farming? Luckily we have a deep archive and this new podcast about JUST THAT: motherjones.com/food/2019/11/e…
PS: six months from now I'll read a big piece on carbon farming, an issue we've covered for years, in NYT and I guess that does make me a leader of the resistance, this is shade at @deanbaquet
@deanbaquet Bernie so good at punctuating an exchange
@deanbaquet So glad they're talking about Khashoggi, Saudi Arabia's brutality, the oppression of women.
@deanbaquet While we break...these are a better mix of questions than most debates IMO. And also IMO, I think that part of that is that there are female moderators.

Yes, more about "women's issues." But more importantly, it's less geared to gotcha and horse-race BS.
@deanbaquet This is the de-white-radicalization movement Yang is talking about: motherjones.com/politics/2018/…
This is the most interesting debate so far, IMHO, in large part because its touching a lot of subjects that have been ignored before: carbon farming, redlining, pot, and now state attacks on abortion rights.
Again 🎶 female moderators 🎶
There's income inequality in almost every question but NOTABLY it is talked about in a way that race and other factors are acknowledged as leaders or at least multipliers in that.
Light her up Pete
Term limits are not the answer! I mean how does the effing billionaire not know this. oh wait...
Tulsi is...not good. Pablum with a not so small touch of Putin
