part 2 of my #PokemonSwordShield thoughts: Holy shit the quality of life changes in this installation are awesome. Everything is tightened up, from breeding to trading to EV training. Easier than ever to make a competitive team.

While they didn't include some things the comp scene could have wanted (no idea why) to get a team of your favorites min maxed is simpler than ever with pokemon jobs and vitamins. Definitely a nice change of pace.

Music in this game is amazing. Most hype gym leader theme in recent memory especially when the crowd chimes in. Gym's in general are changed for the better I think and make them more epic in scale.

Balance definitely gets better towards the mid game and though it's certainly far from perfect, I think the devs DID intend you to actually breed and explore a bit with pokemon to make the EXP share a little more balanced.

Final notes as I won't really get around to tweeting about the end game; I desperately hope Game Freak and @NintendoAmerica are transparent about their update/flc/dlc array regarding this game. There is both good and bad in this game in large amounts. We need to hear from them

@NintendoAmerica #dexit backlash can be mitigated with proper PR representation and transparency among all the other issues that currently plague the game. If they intend to add in the other mons, tell us. If animations are an issue, tell us why...in detail...tell us anything you can clearly

@NintendoAmerica I support this game and I'm having a blast with it despite the choices like D-max. As a series fan, I don't support the more grimy business decisions the series has been using these last few installments. We don't need a new edition in a year, we need a full $60 game now or soon.
