My main issue with the article (and the so called intellectuals) isn't so much how unrepresentative they are but who's behind them and what's their agenda
Reminder that Natenyahu et al uses the fact that Arab dictatorships are cozy with him to tell his electorate that Israel can pursue a policy of outright apartheid without suffering regional consequences
But note what Bibi et al as well as Western commentators skip - the opinions of the Arab masses, who are seen not as a crucial element in the future of their own region but as an impediment that is best to be side stepped, or even crushed
There will never be peace in the Middle East so long it's dominated by dictatorships. And any so called peace process that side steps the Arab masses will, sooner or later, fall flat on its face, engendering nothing but more bitterness.
The formula is simple. No justice = no peace. Contort yourselves all you want, you won't change this formula.
