I'll try to make this my final post on the topic today but never give up hope either in yourself, people or life itself. Nusayba had Stage 4 cancer. We didn't think she'd make it. She needed a liver. Over 500 people, mostly strangers, signed up, to donate. 1/
These donors included people who told me they hate all my politics, my writings & TV appearances. People have the desire to do good, to be good, to help. We can inspire our best angels to rise even when it seems those in power reside in the gutter. Especially now, have hope. 2/
No person is an island. No family going through cancer can survive it alone. We need each other. A community has to help each other. We pay it back & forward. This is how we rise. Nusayba is alive because people invested in her life. This is how it should be for all our kids. 3/3
