Rep. Chris Azubogu moved a motion on the need to investigate the violence between the Nigerian Police Force (@PoliceNG) and residents in his community. The motion was seconded by Rep. Toby Okechukwu. #HousePlenary
Rep. Azubogu said the violence which has left residents of the community in perpetual fear. He expressed regret and grief that the victims of the violence include high ranking police officers and some residents.

Rep. Betara stated that the Bill is in fulfillment of the processes that began with the laying of budget estimates by President @MBuhari before a joint sitting of the National Assembly on October 8th, 2019. #HousePlenary
He added that the estimates we're for the execution of the 2020 financial year. ”The House on it's part debated the general principles of the Bill, held public hearings at the committee level and harmonizing session with the @NGRSenate before today’s presentation” — Rep. Betara.
Rep. Betara while thanking the committee on Finance, commended Speaker @femigbaja for his leadership and support granted to the committees to help carry out its functions.
