Tomorrow night presents a conundrum. I must drink throughout the results, or I will not survive emotionally. But I have a lot of TV/radio and pieces to submit early Friday, so if I do that I might not survive professionally.
The solution may be to stagger it. One drink every two hours, for 36 consecutive hours. Hope the effect wears off before the next one is drunk.
I also have never understood election night parties. I spend these evenings shuddering away with fear. It seems the worst possible circumstances for a party.
Also, not much happens. Exit poll at 10. Then at least four hours of fuck all. I don't get it.
Post-election night parties, on the other hand, make sense. You need to be with friends.
