As I listen to Lindsey Graham at the Horowitz hearing, I'm reminded of a retired FBI agent I once interviewed who told me – with complete sincerity – that "what the FBI is doing now is so corrupt, none of this ever would have happened under Director Hoover."
Lindsey Graham is going on about how people who think Trump is an "idiot" can't be journalists or FBI agents if they ever express that thought out loud. I guess that doesn't apply to Republican senators.
Graham describes Trump's foreign policy team as a bunch of bumbling randos "picked up off the street," and suggests that makes it ludicrous for the FBI to believe they have any concerning connections to a foreign state.
