I am a disciple of the Light. These are some of my observations.
3D reality is navigated by will and desire, triggering conflicts with others and discontent with our status quo when life doesn't manifest what we want.
Awakening makes us realize pursuit of those desires creates obstacles or catalysts forcing us to know and change those aspects of ourselves that are inconsistent with both their attainment and our spiritual journeys.
Eventually our failure to create our desires causes us to give up in frustration, and the discontent grows so great that we turn to God and say, "Thy will be done."
While some see turning to do God's will as an effort to manifest our desires through him, in actuality we're setting the stage to release them altogether and only go where we're led, not try to "push the river"of energies creating our lives toward where we want it to flow.
This is why spiritual seekers and servers gravitate toward monastic life, for it's easier to renounce and release desires without the continual stimulation of the demands of trying to survive and thrive in the material world, however we see it.
Navigation by God's will requires listening to your inner voice, and clearing the egoic distortions that filter and skew the light as it works to lead us to the experiences spirit wants us to get that we need to evolve.
This moderation of ego is essential to travel the spiritual path, for while the desires of ego create catalyst to evolve, their release is needed to move beyond serving ourselves into service of others and the creator.
Of course, those who seek their creator by service of self do not need to release their desires, but learn to manipulate and continue others for their attainment. It is a long row to hoe, requiring total detachment from the needs and suffering of others to serve only self.
Those who follow the light are on the service to others path, gradually lessening concern for their own desires while increasing efforts to serve others'.
Conflict is an inevitable process on the path of return. It pits our desire to serve ourselves with our growing desire to serve others, requiring us to continually adjust to find our balance if we're to have any peace along the way.
Eventually those on the path of light will realize their attachment to desire slows advancement toward the creator and surrender totally to wherever spirit leads, trusting through faith their needs will be met along the way. Thy will be done.
This is why the ancient wisdom says the flower of desire must be ripped from the heart, and that the soul must bathe in the blood of the heart. Thy will be done.
Traveling the spiritual path will bring struggle and suffering until desire is gone and we can accept our fate with peace and joy without expectation or judgment, demanding surrender to what is rather than struggle to create something better.
Only when we release our pursuit of desire (and the conflicts that entails) will we be ready to advance into higher densities of light and consciousness.
Your life then brings experiences through which your beliefs, perspectives and desires will be challenged and you filled with discontent when they are not attained. See those challenges as opportunities to evolve. Allow yourself to become more than you are.
God has blessed you indeed by allowing you to awaken to your journey and consciously work to travel the path. Go it with love, for yourself and for All.
