Last month Kimberly Gervais, 57 — who was shot and suffered a spinal injury in the October 1, 2017, Las Vegas shooting — died. Making the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history even deadlier. usatoday.com/story/news/nat…
This comes with some other recent-ish news about that horrific Vegas shooting. In October MGM Resorts International reached a settlement agreement of up to $800 million for claimants who choose to participate.

Weapons on school grounds

House Bill 1143 says a school district cannot prohibit licensed gun owners, including school employees, from storing a firearm or ammunition in a locked vehicle on a school parking lot — provided they are not in plain view.
