Today was truly one of the most dismaying days of my life. inquirer.com/news/pennsylva…
Many of these inmates -now all but assured to die in prison -had the literal Warden of the SCI facility PLEADING for these commutations.
“Zero danger to the public”. “ I would be thrilled to have them as a neighbor.”
Horton Bros:
👉 ZERO juvenile record
👉 ZERO adult record
👉 DECLINES offer of 4-10 years “because we are innocent”
👉 ZERO misconducts in 52 years
👉 SHOOTER paroled in 2008
👉 WARDEN: “ I beg you to show these men mercy-they are ZERO danger”

👉 They will now die in prison.
The Horton Brothers are either innocent or have flawlessly faked conducting themselves FOR THEIR ENTIRE LIVES as innocent men.
👉Pedro Reynoso

👉 strong @innocence candidate
👉 Victim family ADAMANT Reynoso is NOT the killer
👉 ZERO previous criminal history
👉 26 years misconduct-free in prison
👉 10+ witnesses place him in DR 🇩🇴 at time of murder
👉 Stage 3 colon cancer survivor in declining health
👉 Evans Bros.

👉 Never intended to take a life
👉 Victim later tragically died of a heart attack
👉 Offered a 10-20 year deal
👉 Exemplary prison record during 👉 75+ years of joint incarceration
👉 Barely 18, and 19 y/o at time of crime

👉 Likely now to die in prison
👉 Francisco Mojica

👉 Didn’t take a life
👉 His brother, the killer, released 10+ years ago; wrote judge “please give him my sentence, I’ll take his.”
👉DOC staff “truly special, exemplary inmate, ZERO public safety risk”
👉 Needs a cane to walk

👉 Likely now to die in prison
👉 Edward Printup

👉Killed sadistic stepfather in self defense
👉 His sister testified “At age 8, he sodomized and raped me throughout childhood. Viscously beat Edward 4-5 times/week for 12 years”
👉 Nearly 40 years in prison
👉 “Exemplary inmate”

👉 Likely now die in prison
👉 Henrietta Harris

After serving nearly 40 years for her direct role in a familial tragedy, Henrietta reconciled a troubled past, has the love of her large family, and full support of the Department of Corrections for commutation.

👉 She will now likely die in prison.
By law, these lives now cannot reach Governor Wolf’s desk. And now, these lives will likely end in a Pennsylvania prison: each at a cost of $50,000 a year, until they pass away. A final, bitter irony: the DOC fiercely championed these same lives for commutation.
