Of the 52 books:
- 47 were by women (cis and trans)
- 3 were by men
- 2 were by non-binary or gender non-confirming people
- At least 19 were by queer authors and-or featured #LGBTQ characters
- 24 were in translation

1999 Me lived in Cairo & was visiting NYC for Xmas & Millennium. It was my 1st visit since my family 1st went to NYC (& US) in 1982. And holy fuck! I realized I would love that city more than I would ever love any man or woman.Soon to be ex-husband understood & was jealous of NYC

Just to be clear, we will not see the sort of emissions decline by 2030 demanded by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change – a 20% cut by 2030 to keep temperature rises to 2C, 45% cut to remain under 1.5C – but I would guess at a drop of around 5%.

1) Transportation choices are shaped by public policy.
2) We need to give people safe, convenient transportation choices. Example, loads of people want to cycle places, but they're #2scared2bike.
3) Transportation is the #1 cause of injury death for kids and #2 for adults. But it doesn't have to be this way. Mortality rate in Netherlands is 1/4 of ours. That's because of good engineering (#VisionZero, transit, etc).
