Again. Pardoning Stone, Flynn, Manafort or any of Trump's other co-conspirators will strengthen the obstruction of justice case against Trump.
Manafort knew EVERYTHING. Manafort lied to investigators because he saw an eventual Trump pardon more profitable than a cooperation agreement.

Trump could shave WAY more years off Manafort's sentence than Mueller's office could.
The joint defense agreement is held by the Trump family, Manafort, Stone, Kushner, Corsi, any many others.

Trump's pardon promises is how the Mueller investigation was SUCCESSFULLY obstructed.
The question is, is Trump brave enough to follow through with the pardons KNOWING that it will build the obstruction case against himself?

Tonight I've been contemplating OATHS. What does it mean that people like McConnell and Graham so casually break their oaths, even before taking them?

What does an oath mean to McConnell and Graham? A promise? To whom? The country? God?
If they don't intend to keep the oaths they will take, it seems they believe oaths are basically meaningless pomp.

They know their voters are blinded to their disloyalty to their oaths so there will be no consequences. They'll probably keep their jobs.
Their personal honor will be in tatters (if any is left after the way they've behaved over the past years). Do they care about that? Does it matter to other Senate Republicans that the Senate leaders think oaths are hogwash and stupid?

I was bored, so I did this weird thing. Adjusted for state population, Democrats should have the Senate majority, 52(D)-48(R). Instead it's 47(D)-53(R).

What would it take to make Puerto Rico a state? It has a population of 3.2 million, bigger than the least populous 21 states
Also, Washington DC's population is bigger than Wyoming.

We need to get creative.
Gotta say though, it would really mess up that "Fifty Nifty United States" song.
