A life second to none. Full of gratitude for this gift of sobriety that I have been given — and for all of the people who help me get through each new day, including these two, my perfect nephews, who make everything a little brighter and more hopeful. 🥰 
And, of course, unending thanks goes to Mommy, who’s been there for everything — from the beginning. ❤️ I don’t know how I’ve been so blessed to live the life that I get to live, but I know that without her love and lessons it wouldn’t be possible. (I’m 5 days old on the left.)
After a week away, though, it did feel good to get back to DC tonight — back to the gym and then a wonderful, impromptu discussion with a dear friend about life and what we want from 2020. What a gift! 🙏
I’m tired, but there’s always more. For now, though: bed. ... Night, all, and let us try to be good to one another — and ourselves.
